Art Deco Nigela Birthday Card

Art Deco Nigela Card

Hello peeps. How is every one?

This card was made with the tonic art deco die set. For the first time ever I opened the set and instantly made a card, no practices or wondering where to start. It’s all one die set and no faff, brilliant!

The base card is gold mirri card the front a very thin black card. The verso or inner parts were cut first then lined up on the gold for the cut-outs and folds.

The card folds is a gatefold card then the centre is divided as ¼ + ½ + ¼ of the back panel for the placement of the centre die-cuts and folds.

When placed into an envelope I bend the two Art Deco Nigela Damascena Cardsides back at the fold, it gives a nice appearance as it’s pulled out of the envelope.

Gilding flakes were used for the Nigela stamp in the centre panel. This and the birthday sentiment were matted onto more gold mirri card.

It looks quite complicated to make but it came together very quickly and I really enjoyed making it.

I’ve been having some image hosting issues this week but hopefully everything’s working as it should now “fingers crossed”

Thanks for popping by today. Till next time have fun x
